Carterton FC Give Presentation to Carterton Town Council

1 month ago By Philip Godfrey

Chairman Phil Godfrey informs Town Councillors of a serious lack of playing pitches in Carterton.

Last night Carterton FC attended the Town Hall to present to the Town Councillors the new structure and development of our club. Chairman Phil Godfrey started the meeting with his concern of the lack of sports pitches not just in Carterton but in the whole county. Mick Brennan Vice Chairman went onto explain the vast amount of work we have all achieved in just four months taking the club forward and being run in a professional and sustainable way for the future. Andrew Walton the Funding and Development officer gave a short presentation showing our future plans and the possible offering of a BTEC course for 16yr old school leavers. Chairman Phil Godfrey closed the presentation with a thank you for the recent support from the council and asked the council to appreciate all the hard work all the volunteers at Carterton FC do to enable football for the youth in the community. The meeting was attended by coaches, players, parents and club officials . It was felt that the presentation was positively received by the Town Council.
