U12s march into quarter final of the North Wilts Cup

2 months ago By Andrew Walton

Quarter final appearance for the U12s.

Carterton 6 Ferndale 2.

Carterton booked their place in the quarter finals of the league cup with a good win over Ferndale.
A poor start from Carterton who were missing two key players saw Ferndale take a 2-0 lead after fifteen minutes .
We then brought on Darcy who joined on Monday for his first game and he found the net after 3 min's of coming on.
A goal by Max was soon added and the half time whistle went at 2-2.

The second half saw a change in the formation and soon saw its rewards with George playing the pass of the match for Max to race through and finish .
The physical presences of George holding the ball up brought others in to the game and work rate of the midfield Jake and Louis P and Charlie saw Carterton really dominate in the second half .
Max went on to score 4 Charlie 1 Darcy 1 .
And with a back line of Darcy Louis c and Andy and Ewan that had not played together before at the back holding out giving Brandon a easy half in the Carterton goal.
